Ministry Experience
Minister – Brenham, TX. During summer recess from ACU. Minister – Desdemona, TX. 1956-59. Missionary in Tanganyika (Now Tanzania), East Africa. 1959-1964. I taught those 5 years at Tanganyika Bible School, a Preacher Training School. Minister – Garland Road, Dallas, TX. Four Months in Spring, 1963. Minister – Benoni, RSA, 1965 to Present. One of Founding Directors of Southern Africa Bible School, now Southern Africa Bible College. Experience in other fields/occupations: Served as SABC Director. Held Gospel Meetings or Special Series in East London, Port Elizabeth, Cape Town, Durban, Welkom, Pretoria, Turffontein (Johannesburg), Boksburg, Pietermaritzburg, Meadowlands (Soweto), Venda, Botswana, Swaziland, Lesotho and several states in America, (Texas, Oklahoma, Kentucky). I have also spoken at the Michigan Christian College Lectureship as well as ACU’s lectureship. Additional Ministry Information: Converted to Christ by Veteran Missionary, Eldred Echols in 1952 at the age of 15. I had been brought up by my parents in a denomination. When I was 17, I flew to America to attend ACU. My major was bible and before long, in a bible class, I met another bible major who would become my wife later on. We married while we were in college and the month after we graduated, we left for Africa’s mission field. By then we had a daughter, Lisa, 17 months old.
