It is wonderful to see the evangelistic zeal of our students! Eddy Nikosi, SABC Dean of Students, reports: Walter Murimo, 3rd-year student, teaches Bible classes several times a week to the Student Nurses at the Cloverdene Road Nursing College. He is helped in this good work by Zimele Mahlangu and Baxter Musiiw, second-year students, who also conduct Sunday services at the Nursing College. Meanwhile, at the Elandsfontein Church of Christ, Mpendulo Mahlangu, a 3rd-year student, helps with teaching the Sunday Morning Bible Class and with preaching.
A number of other students are involved in personal evangelism at the Chief Albert Luthuli Informal Settlement near the Bible College. Those who are baptized worship at the newly established Chief Albert Luthuli Church of Christ. One of the students, Tshepo Sydwell Selepe, also helps with the teaching preaching at the congregation.
Sports activities are also popular with the students who took part in a soccer tournament in March. It was between SABC, the Hilltop Church of Christ in Johannesburg, and the Meadowlands Church of Christ Nursing College and in the month of May, they played a local Benoni team. In all of these games, SABC won!
